Extra Hands of Heacham Limited aims to treat everyone it deals with in a fair and respectful manner. Extra Hands provides and sources quality information regarding services available within the individual’s locality to enable them to make informed choices about the services they require including local advocacy services.
To provide care and support to the service user, which respects their privacy, dignity, confidentiality and individuality.
To enable people to live as safely and independently as possible in their own homes and to provide support for Support Workers to help them achieve this aim for as long as they wish or are able to do so.
To provide a service that is tailored to the greatest extent possible to the specific care needs, wishes and preferences of each individual service user.
To ensure a consistent reliable and flexible service which promotes good practice.
To protect the health, safety and welfare of our service users and Support Workers by promoting and reviewing our policies and procedures.
To work together with families, statutory and voluntary agencies in supporting our service users.
To provide care and support to our staff by recognising their abilities and providing ongoing personal development and training to ensure a qualified and competent work force.
To achieve a high quality service by regular monitoring of standards as set down by The Care Quality Commission to ensure the service is organised in the best interest of the service user.
