The festive season was well and truly kick-started when children from two Norfolk schools provided the entertainment at special events we organised for older members of our community.
Our team arranged the events to share mince pies with friends, service users and their families along with the young visitors.
The first gathering was at Horsford where children from the village primary school were invited to share some music with guests and staff to bring some Christmas cheer.
We really enjoy organising social events in the communities we work. It is anice way to meet everyone, make new friends from across the generations and ensure our service users have the chance to socialise.
The Heacham event again had children from the village junior school provide entertainment and guests also held a raffle to raise money for the Falls Support Appeal at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, King’s Lynn.
The appeal, with a target of £35,000 is raising money towards a raft of specialist equipment to help prevent injury from falls.
